pattern recognition
Dan sent me William Gibson's Pattern Recognition . Thought it was weirdly appropriate...and it is.
From the "mirror-world" (i.e. British) details to the sense of displacement and use of technology in relationships, even some of the characters...i'm not that far into it yet, but a fun read.

I've commented on "Pattern Recognition" myself. The passage "Souls can’t move that quickly, and are left behind, and must be awaited, upon arrival, like lost luggage”. Jet lag, the best description I've read for loosing one's mental luggage on a lightpath.
PS found you thru Ken E's site.
