This just doesn't look like December to me. I hear it's a "winter wonderland" at home (sounds good from here!)

The relatively few sunny days we get often have this cloud cover that seems to press the sunlight down, creating these slightly oblique shafts of light. It can be kind of spectacular at certain moments.

The party last night was fun - we talked a lot about food and Christmas traditions. One week and i will be home!
