This bench was in front of an art gallery in Newcastle. I love the way it swoops out of the ground all of a piece, and the way it turned purple when i imported the photo.
Other benches in another part of town had lists of things to do on a bench written on glass behind them: read, dream, eat, talk etc. It was a bit presumptious, maybe, but all the same i appreciated the advice.
I'm finding it a challenge adjusting to not having constant pressures, demands and busy-ness for distraction and direction. (i know, waah! ;-P)
But the time to think brings a whole other kind of work with it...and constant marshalling of one's own resources to plod forward in the mist without anybody watching or waiting.
